Three supper recipes, four portions for 8.10 zł. With a shopping list
Supper can cost about two złoty. We put together three recipes that make four portions for 8.10 zł, that's 2.03 zł an evening, no meat and no fish, but with real protein from legumes, egg and dairy. The pancakes make a double portion, so one recipe covers two evenings.
The prices and macros per portion come from Snugmeal's recipe base, calculated on Biedronka prices as of August 2026. We showed a week of breakfasts put together this way before, now the same for the evening.
Three recipes, four evenings

Fry in hot oil in two batches, about 4 minutes each side, until golden. Serve with a spoon of sour cream. These amounts make two portions, so two evenings or seconds.

The amounts are what the recipes use, not package sizes. At the till, buying full packages, the first shop is about 60 zł, counting typical sizes: 500 ml of olive oil, a litre of oil, 10 eggs, a 400 g can of beans, 200 g of sour cream, 500 g of lentils, a kilo of flour and a loaf of bread. Nearly 48 zł of that is dry pantry, eggs, flour, oil, olive oil, lentils, curry and the can of beans, which lasts for many more meals. Across these four portions you eat 8.10 zł worth, and the fresh items, potatoes, onion and carrot, you buy by weight, exactly what you need.
What stays in the pantry, and what you buy by weight
The fresh items close on their own, because you buy them by weight: half a kilo of potatoes, an onion and a carrot go entirely. You eat most of a can of beans, while most of the sour cream and the loaf are left, which you'll use the same week, on sandwiches or in a soup. Eggs, flour, oil, olive oil and spices are pantry that works for a long time.
Four portions, each with 11 to 16 grams of protein, 8.10 zł in total. About two złoty an evening, less than a frozen supermarket pizza.
